well lightning was fallin’ straight outta the sky
but we ain’t never gonna die
And here’s the first of two sketchbook page commissions for Anatomy on the Wolfhome forums.
I haven’t posted any of my artshit to my Krimija blog in a while, but since I’m advertizing my art commissions services now, I’ll be posting here too.
Anyways! Here’s a pic of my Am Rev War spy/thief/crossdresser/asshole extraordinaire character Andrea/Andrew, dressed like a woman for once. Whatta naughty girl, out in her skivvies! How scandalous!
Really, this was just a two hour doodle seeing if I can still paint in Photoshop. The answer: a little bit!
And here’s another one of Andrea/Andrew I did a couple days ago. This is closer to how they dress typically, but not always. They actually have a standard Red Coat for your standard soldier that they use to get infiltrate British camps and whatnot, but it’s not nearly as fancy, of course.
To be honest, I’m not sure what this is the uniform of, though probably some officer. Maybe a— whatever it is, I’m sure I woefully misdrew it. I don’t know, and neither does Andrew. They just know that it looks way fancier and more important (and therefore better in her opinion) than that of an enlisted man.
Not to mention, they just use it to fool civilians into giving them their silverware and what-have-you for the ‘war effort’.
Still working on getting her body type right too. She’s suppose to be ridiculously tall, especially for the time period (5’ 11”, when the average American males was something like 5’ 8” probably). Broad-shoulders, slim waist, narrow-hips, compact ass and legs with thick calves, large hands and feet. Lean muscle. You know, built with a strong upper body for climbing and streamline lower body for running.
Weird looking lady. Can’t blame her for dressing like a dude.
And I’m just gonna keep plugging my commissions pricelist here too.
ps if anyone knows stuff about british army uniforms back then lend me a hand here
what an asshole
